Big Honkin' Update....Caricatures and cafe drawings

Greetings true believers! I'm back hittin you with another update. Lately i've been pretty keen on cafe drawings and caricaturing and I've produced a few pieces that I'm quite happy with. 3 of them are my teachers and the rest are of people I've seen in public places (usually the bus). I hope to draw more and more of these to improve my skill. I still have great difficulty with certain aspects of the figure, mainly the neck and head area. I can rarely put them in the right place. It's ok, time and practice will fix that. Anyways, here are the pics.

Finally finished!

Greetings and salutations! So last night I finished my Fantastic Four drawing. I'm quite happy with it. It kinda looks like an animated Saturday morning cartoon show which is the look I'm going for. I love how Thing turned out too!

K so today was 1st day of school. It went pretty well. Turns out half of the people in my class last year turned up in my class this year. Downside is, the majority of my friends from last year's class is in another class so that sucks. Anyways, I won't get into the happenings of today coz nothing happened much at all (HAHA) so I'm just gonna post some of my doodlings the past couple of days and today......


Black Cat sketch


Captain America. This started out as a sketch and then I decided to colour it using blue and red pencils. Then I decided to ink it last minute and add all the shading to make it look Comic-y. Turned out quite alright in my opinion...

Venom...yea I know his arm looks like it exploded or something...I'm still trying to perfect my drawing of his symbiote suit. =P

This is the Fantastic Four drawing that's currently in progress. I still gotta knock in the shading.

Hokkai, so.....

I recently came back from an awesome weekend! Went to Niagara Falls for an overnight with some friends of mine and got drunk. Haha! It was all gravy! Then, I went to Comic Con with Damian. Only got to spend 3 hrs. there thought but it was worth it. I got a Spidey sketch from Francisco Herrera! I also bought 2 Street fighter action figures. I'm starting a collection of that! And finally, yesterday I went to HOOTERS for wings night with my friends. When we got there, we saw like 10 people we know eating. We were all like "WTF? Random coincidence!" Anyways I managed to beat my record of 32 by eating 50 wings. I'm proud of myself! =P

Hmmm school's in a week....finally! This summer, though productive and eventful, was a tad too long I think. I actually want to go back to school for once. Although I'm not looking forward to the stress and big animation assignments, I am looking forward to learning new things and further developing my drawing skills. 2nd year will be fun hopefully.

So anyways, I finally finished my *ahem* "commission" work for my friend:
